we all Posters | Overview
Over the last decade, classroom teachers have asked us for poster-size versions of the photos from the RPCV International Calendar. In honor of 2011, the 50th Anniversary of Peace Corps, we have created a third and final set of five, for a total of 15 posters.
We call this series the we all International Posters because the set focuses on commonalities we all share globally. The first set illustrates the basic needs of food, water, housing, work, and clothing. The second set continues with social needs: we all learn, play, go places, shop, and need friends. And the final set has themes of self-esteem and respect for all: peace, health, energy, celebration, and create.
Each set of five different posters, 36″ x 24″, is packaged in a mailing tube. Please visit the How to Order page for price information and details. We also offer additional information about each photo and country under Poster Teaching Resources.
Would your group like to use these posters in a fund-raising activity? Attached is a Toolkit that will help you identify ways to reach out to the educational community in your state and take advantage of the quantity discounts that we offer.
The we all International Posters, like the calendar, are designed to share a bit of what volunteers, and those who have gone abroad, have learned with the people back home. Any proceeds will be donated to education and development projects around the world. We think you will find the posters not only a useful teaching tool, but also a beautiful addition to your libraries and offices.
