WHAT'S A GIM?
The acronym stands for "General Information Meeting." On the second Wednesday of every month a group of 10 to 30 students and community members gather to discuss volunteering for the Peace Corps. John Sheffy presents information about the Peace Corps, shows slides, and answers questions. If you would enjoy sharing your own Peace Corps experience with students, contact John. If you would like to learn more about the Peace Corps, GIMs are held in the Media Room on the first floor of the Red Gym from 6-7pm. |
