We frequently get requests for RPCVs to share their stories in the community. If you are interested in telling your story, or hearing our story, please contact the Speaker’s Bureau Contact.
In addition, the UW Campus Recruiter is always looking for RPCVs (particularly newly Returned Volunteers) to talk about their Peace Corps service at one of the General Information Meetings (GIMs) held on the UW campus every second Wednesday of the month in the Red Gym (GIM at the GYM). Contact the Campus Representative, if you would like to participate in or learn more about one of these GIMs.
The University of Wisconsin-Madison and the RPCVs of WI-Madison have had a strong relationship from the beginning. RPCVs of WI-Madison is a registered student organization on campus, and we are proud to offer local support to the efforts of the campus recruiter.
We also have posters available for sale, geared to K-12 teachers, to support efforts in promoting multicultural education and awareness. Learn more about these here on our site. Designed by Madison volunteers using photos from our award-winning calendar series and printed locally by Suttle Straus of Waunakee, all proceeds are used to support development projects. |
